Livlye Lift ("we," "our," or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

Information We Collect

Your Workout Data (Stored Locally)

Your personal workout data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers. This includes:

Workout logs and exercise data
Personal fitness goals and preferences
Progress tracking and statistics
Custom workout plans

This data does not leave your device unless you choose to manually export it.

HealthKit Data

If you grant permission, the app integrates with Apple HealthKit to provide enhanced workout tracking:

Heart Rate Monitoring: Real-time heart rate data during workouts (collected from iPhone or Apple Watch)
Active Calories: Energy expenditure tracking during workout sessions
Workout Sessions: Option to save completed workout sessions to Apple Health

All HealthKit data remains on your device and is managed according to Apple's HealthKit privacy policies. You can enable or disable heart rate tracking at any time in the app settings. We do not transmit HealthKit data to external servers.

Apple Watch Integration

If you use our companion Apple Watch app, the following data is synchronized between your iPhone and Apple Watch:

Workout State: Current exercise, elapsed time, and workout status
Heart Rate Data: Real-time heart rate measurements from Apple Watch sensors
Workout Controls: Commands to pause, resume, or end workouts
Rest Timer Actions: Rest timer state and controls

This synchronization occurs only between your personal devices using Apple's WatchConnectivity framework. No data is transmitted to external servers during this process.

Analytics Data (Collected via Firebase)

To help us improve the app experience, we collect anonymized usage analytics through Google Firebase Analytics. This includes:

Workout Events: When workouts are started, completed, or cancelled (including duration, exercise count, and total sets)
Feature Usage: Exercise creation, set completion, and rest timer usage
Settings Changes: When you modify app settings (setting name and value)
Device Information: Basic device information like operating system version, device model, and app version
Crash Reports: Technical information if the app crashes to help us fix bugs

Important: Analytics data is anonymized and does not include your personal workout data, exercise weights/reps, HealthKit data, or any personally identifiable information. You can opt-out of analytics collection at any time in the app settings while still using all core app features.

How We Use Your Information

Your personal workout data remains on your device and is not used by us in any way.

HealthKit data is used exclusively on your device to:

Display real-time heart rate during workouts
Track active calories burned
Store workout sessions in Apple Health (if enabled)
Provide accurate workout performance metrics

We use anonymized analytics data collected through Firebase solely to:

Improve app performance and user experience
Identify and fix bugs and crashes
Understand which features are most valuable to users
Make informed decisions about future feature development

We do not use analytics data to identify individual users or to target advertising.

Data Sharing and Third Parties

Your personal workout data is not shared with third parties as it remains stored locally on your device.

We use Google Firebase Analytics, a third-party service provided by Google LLC, to collect and analyze anonymized usage data. Firebase may collect and process data according to their own privacy policies:

Firebase only receives anonymized, aggregated usage data. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

Data Security

Your workout data is stored securely on your device using iOS's built-in security features and a SQLite database. We recommend using device-level security measures such as passcodes and biometric authentication to protect your data.

HealthKit data is protected by Apple's HealthKit framework security, which requires explicit user permission and stores data in Apple's secure health database on your device.

Apple Watch synchronization occurs over encrypted Bluetooth connections between your paired devices.

Analytics data transmitted to Firebase is sent over secure, encrypted connections (HTTPS). Google Firebase employs industry-standard security practices to protect data in transit and at rest.

Your Data Rights

Since your workout data is stored locally on your device, you have complete control over it. You can:

Delete the app at any time to remove all local data
Export your data using the app's export feature (if available)
Clear your data within the app settings

Regarding analytics collection, you have the right to:

Opt-out of analytics collection at any time through the app settings
Continue using all app features even with analytics disabled

Please note that once analytics data has been anonymized and aggregated by Firebase, it cannot be attributed back to individual users and therefore cannot be deleted on a per-user basis.

Children's Privacy

Livlye Lift is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us.

Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, especially regarding data collection practices, we will notify you through the app. The "Last updated" date at the top of this policy reflects when changes were last made. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
